About

"A good photograph is knowing where to stand". Ansel Adams
Friends were known to comment (and the Bank Manager once!) “….you don’t look well” during the period of the 20 years of studio work, specialising in table top still life and roomsets. I never seemed to see daylight … it was a black out studio…no windows!
Our clients didn’t seem to mind the pasty face, they loved the work and that’s what mattered.
The studio’s lease expired at about the same time that film, polaroid and ‘all’ was about to gather cobwebs and dust, with that the brave new world of ’studio’ photography on location arrived.
I am now shooting people. portraits, lifestyle, and interiors for advertising and editorial clients, mostly on location but sometimes the studio…..
Oh by the way….. looking unfashionably tanned these days… ho hum
